Strawberry Lemonade

Since it's mostly always summer where I'm at (Singapore), I love making lemonade / squash and keep them in the fridge so there's always something refreshing and delicious to drink at home. Today I'd like to share with you one of my favorite recipes - Strawberry infused Water.

Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits - even though it might not seem so because I absolutely hate artificially flavored strawberry products (strawberry ice cream, milk, sweets, etc.). Anyhow, here are some benefits of Strawberries to make you fall in love with them too!

Strawberries contain salicylic acid, which is an ingredient that should be familiar to most of us girls - because it's some miracle agent that most of our skincare products contain (if you have acne-prone / oily skin). It's amazing for treating Acne and you can use it as a fresh face mask too! Recipe here.

Strawberries are also anti-oxidant.They help to fight free radicals and slow down skin ageing. The damage we all get from the sun everyday is too harmful, I need not explain how we might get skin cancer if we don't protect our skin properly. So, this is another +1 point to add some berries into our diets!
They are also packed with Vitamin C. A bowl of strawberries (or a cup of fresh strawberry juice) provides you with the entire requirement of Vit C dose we need daily and helps to keep the skin’s elasticity and helps regenerate new cells, keeping skin young.

Strawberries can be used as a fresh ingredient for many things such as facial cleansers, toners, face and hair masks, many more! I hope this motivates you munch on strawberries just *a little bit* more.
